Our mission is to provide a framework that allows individuals and families the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and move to a place of more abundant lives. Uplift People of Elk Grove uses a comprehensive and holistic approach which focuses on avoiding homelessness, continuing education, financial management, securing employment, self evaluation and moving off public assistance. We bridge the cultural and socioeconomic class lines that often divide us. Uplift is built on the philosophy that all participants will gain greatly from their experience and that we all benefit from the support and encouragement of others. We work to challenge preconceived beliefs about poverty.

We thank our amazing donors who supported us during our 2024 Big Day of Giving fundraising campaign. Through your generous donations we raised $12,650.23, surpassing any of our previous BDOG campaigns. We are grateful for the tremendous support of our community who continues to support us in our mission to empower individuals and families to break the cycle of poverty and create abundant lives.
Special Evening at Elk Grove Food Bank Services
On May 2 we will be collaborating with our friends at the Elk Grove Food Bank Services for a special event honoring our supporters. Visit our booth at the Elk Grove Food Bank, located at 9888 Kent Street in Elk Grove, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. for some snacks, swag, and the opportunity to win two tickets to our 2025 Mardi Gras Madness Event ($110 value).
